Practical Driving Test Pass Certificates – HGV Licence C1, C and C+E passes

It’s great for us to see the sheer pleasure on the face of our successful candidates when they’ve passed their Driving Test!

A lot of hard work goes in to the courses we provide and it’s great to see all the hard work pay off when the candidates take their driving test. We appreciate this can be the start of a new chapter in peoples lives. It gives them more options with their careers and offers the chance to branch out into driving jobs that were previous out of reach.

Towing with a car

If you obtained your driving licence after 1997 and you want to tow a horse box, caravan or large trailer over 750kg you are legally required to obtain a B+E licence.

Towing Rules

The government website offers a great tool where you can find out if you’re old enough or have the right kind of licence to tow a trailer from different kinds of vehicles or simply give us a call with your information and we can help you.

A full car licence already lets you tow trailers weighing no more than 750 kg. You can also tow heavier trailers with a car as long as the total weight of vehicle and trailer isn’t more than 3,500 kg. The fully loaded trailer must also not be heavier than the unladen vehicle (this only applies to licences issued before 19 January 2013).

Traindrive use a Nissan Navara 4×4

TRAINDRIVE USE A COMFORTABLE NISSAN NAVARA 4×4 WITH A TWIN AXLE TRAILER FOR THIS COURSE.

Both meet the specific requirements stipulated by the Driving Standards Agency for the B+E Trailer Test. There is no theory test required.
